Danny L. Hitt Jr.
Doctor of Jurisprudence, 1983, University of Oregon Law School
Bachelor of Arts, 1979, The University of Wisconson, Madison

For much of his 23 years as an attorney, Dan Hitt was a litigator and partner at one of the Northwest's largest law firms. Then he came to believe that a small firm of quality lawyers could provide the same service more personably, with greater efficiency and economy as demanded by today's competitive business and insurance environment. He strives to prove that vision at Hitt Hiller Monfils Williams LLP.

Danny has litigated a wide range of tort and contract claims for individuals, businesses and insurers, including those involving catastrophic personal injuries, product and construction defects, contract disputes, patent/copyright violations and employment/civil rights claims of harassment, discrimination and retaliation.

With the support of a select group of partners, Danny has tried some of the biggest cases in the area, yet no case is too small for him to handle solo at a client's request.

For clients who seek both quality and efficiency, Danny believes the answer is a big firm lawyer with a small firm's efficiency and economy. He also believes clients shouldn't be surprised when he answers his own telephone. After all, that is why each lawyer in the firm publishes their direct line number. Of course, clients are also free to call the receptionist and ask for Mr. Hitt.

When Danny's not working on a client's case you may find him feeding his Koi, playing with his dachshunds, running, skiing, or playing tennis or golf with his wife Vicky.

Oregon State Bar, Washington State Bar, Federal Bar Association, Oregon Trucking Association, Trucking Industry Defense Association, and American Bar Association. Dan is admitted to practice in the States of both Oregon and Washington.
